Christmas lists

One of the worst and best things about Christmas is daydreaming about buying all the gadgets you can eat (but not afford). I've been seeing a bunch of cool stuff, mostly provided by the neato blog Boing Boing.

This remote-controlled spy plane looks pretty cool. I wonder how good the pictures are?

I've been waiting for this Line 6 Toneport USB audio interface to come out so I can start "Hammond Hitz" studios. Too bad it doesn't also have RCA inputs. I guess you could get the Edirol UA-1EX for that. It's a lot cheaper than this $400 gorilla, but even the $400 gorilla is kind of cool, too.

Even though these dental floss holders in the shapes of piranha are wickedly handsome, they also look just plain wicked. Floss your teeth, then get out the band-aids. Link (via Boing Boing)

Given my recent foray into poker, I'm lusting after these stainless-steel playing cards. They're really expensive, though, and you'd have to get out the band-aids for the second time that day after you shuffled them. (via Boing Boing)

For you comic book fans out there, there's these DC Comics stamps that'd probably make a cool stocking stuffer. Stuff that stocking! YAR! Oh, whoops. Can't get them until next summer. Well, heck, why not cheer everyone up by stuffing their stocking with the AMBER Alert stamps? (via Boing Boing)

And yet another daydream would to build an arcade machine for my living room...

Maybe I'll win this Aeon Flux Alienware laptop? I gots a chance!

And the ultimate daydream is this motorcycle that isn't even available for sale - the Ducati HyperMotard (via Bikes in the Fast Lane)

Of course, this wish list has been a lot longer in the building.

With that out of my system, I can be happy with my I-bought-a-house-and-now-I'm-broke existence.
